anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Nov 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of coffee. Sweetish roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish roasted malty chocolate finish. Frovigalning (388), , Sweden Aug 23, 2009 It poured a pitch black liquid with a big light brown foam. It had some really nice craters in it and when it receded it left quite allot of lacing.
It had a smell of chocolate.
It tasted of dark chocolate and coffey. It was smooth yet dry and didn’t feel very complex or balanced. Felt like it was lacking something. imdownthepub (5087), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jul 19, 2009 Bottled, 500ml at The Kent Beer Fest (Foreign Bar), Canterbury. Brown with tan head. Overwhelmingly sweet with unbrewed sugars. Heavy, chocolatey, caramel, heavy. A little too much for me. EHSRanders (1121), Randers C, Denmark Jul 13, 2009 Bottle.
