Black Boss Porter 7.0%

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of coffee. Sweetish roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish roasted malty chocolate finish.

It poured a pitch black liquid with a big light brown foam. It had some really nice craters in it and when it receded it left quite allot of lacing. It had a smell of chocolate. It tasted of dark chocolate and coffey. It was smooth yet dry and didn’t feel very complex or balanced. Felt like it was lacking something.

Bottled, 500ml at The Kent Beer Fest (Foreign Bar), Canterbury. Brown with tan head. Overwhelmingly sweet with unbrewed sugars. Heavy, chocolatey, caramel, heavy. A little too much for me.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with large creamy light brown mostly lasting head. Aroma is roasted malt. Sweet flavor with notes of licorice.

Bottle. Courtesy Saxo. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. English licorice notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. A little sweet.

Dark brown and clear. Aroma is roasted, caramel, coffee. Flavor is heavy sweet. Syrup texture. Long duration.

Dark red color with fine head. Licorice aroma and strong licorice flavor. Maybe a bit too sweet with a too bitter licorice...

Bottle. Nice head with good duration, Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are licorice, coffee, roast malt and notes of fruits and nuts. Way too sweet in finish.
