Found this too be a bit sweet and heavy, lacks any bitterness, at times I got a hint of Christmas, it wasn’t bad and grew on me a little. Ungstrup (15259), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 15, 2008 500 ml bottle. Black wiht ruby red hues. Small light beige fine-laced head. Subdued mellow roasted malt aroma. Acidic with flavours of blood/iron. Rather thin bodied. Normal carbonation level. There is clearly a minor infection in this beer as it gets more acidic in the flavour as it heats up. Aroma is normal, but flavourwise it is unbalanced. Furseth (1328), Kungälv, Sweden

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 17, 2008 500 ml bottle. Tan mediumsized head with big bubbles. Good lacework. Translucent, dark brown body. Sweet dark malts, sweet dark fruits and mild coffee in the aroma. Sugary malt flavor. Coffee and chocolate notes. A little roastiness and even less bitterness. Light to medium body, thin considering the strenght. Sugary-watery mouthfeel. Sugar and some roast in the finish. Not as sweet as his big brother, still too sugary for my tastebuds. pilsnerrogge (1785), Finspång, Sweden
