At first I thought that what I was drinking was the celebrated Black Boss porter. However, it turned out to be a domestic version of this export beer, with slightly lower ABV and different packaging. Dark colour, creamy lasting head. Smooth taste, roasted caramel taste with some slight fruity notes. Very strong coffee flavour. Little bitterness, pleasant end, very smooth and creamy. Very good porter, Polish porters are always good. Re: even better when re-tried. Top class in the genre.

Pours a three finger light tan head that fades slowly, leaving a good lace. Black color no highlights. Light-medium carbonation and medium-heavy bodied. Sweet roasted caramel nose. Flavor is sweet roasted caramel with just the right amount of hops. Really good porter. Good price at $1.69 for a 500ml bottle from Manchester Wine and Liquors Manchester, CT.

500ml bottle at London Drinker BF 07. Very dark ruby colour with bubbly dark beige head. Slightly buttery porter. Butter and some toasty aroma. Slightly sweet, slightly sticky in mouth, some charcoal towards the end. I like it. Bizarre, but flavoursome. 3.3/5.0 Re-rate bottle at Kent BF 07. Rich malts, liquorice, decent prickly hop on end. Very coffeeish. Beautiful coffee flavoured beer. Superb, slightly strong beer. Smooth and rather luscious.

bottle, traded with Wiking. Deep black colour, small but creamy beige head. Aroma of roasetd malts, caramel and coffee. Full-bodied, very smooth and velvety, full of intensive flavours of caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, raisins and prunes. A very complex and delicious beer.
