| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2007 Bottle. Poured with a very light head, overall carbonation is very weak. Body is a very dark brown. Taste is very heavy malt, and I doubt any hops were used to make this. Much too sweet for the style, finishes exceptionally smooth. Does have a notable fruity aftertaste, which may be due to the type of yeast used. portermax55 (118), Canterbury, Connecticut, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 6, 2007 500mL bottle into pint glass. Pours a dark brown with a light grey head. Heavy aromas of sweet fruit and roasted malts with a hint of spice. Flavor is of plums, fruit and malts with a slight coffee-like finish. Mouthfeel is light and drinkable. My only complaint was there could have been more carbonation, but that may have been due to the age of the bottle I purchased. tarjei (1753), Bryne, Norway

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Bottle. Chocolate covered raisin aroma - light hint of astringency. Opaque black brown color with moderate tan head. Sweet brown sugar, chocolate-coffee malt flavor - just the light hint of astringency and alcohol. Unbelievably well hidden alcohol level - I would have bet that this wasn’t over 5%. An incredibly smooth, easy drinking baltic porter. timfoolery (484), California, USA

It’s too bad I can’t be more elequent when talking about beer. This stuff is excellent, smooth in drink and aftertaste. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Big frothy dense head, small lacing. Big licorice aroma with some roasted malts, molasses and smoke. Color is dark brown/black. Sweet and smokey then roasted grains and coffee comes in the finish. I was pleasantly surprised given the very low price ($1.69) of this large bottle.
