dark dark brown, almost black, quite big head at first, malt, chocolate, nuts in the aroma. Taste is not as strong as I expected, maybe a bit too sweet, malty and roasty finish

The alcohol really shines through here, making this a good one to wind down the night. All of the traditional porter flavors are here, although this one goes heavy on the sweetness. Personally, I thought it was delicious, a great way to warm up in the winter perhaps.

Deep black color. Decent khaki head. Burnt electrical nose. Syrupy sweet first sip. Too sweet. I don’t know what to do with this one. I am going to let it warm up a bit, but it might be a drain pour.

Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma from chocolate, wood, molasse and horseblanket. Sweet, thick, smooth madeira and coffee flavour. Somewhat burnt. Pleasant acidity in finish.

Wow, this beer smells like alcohol (not that that?s a bad thing). Nice taste. Bit of a sour aftertaste, but not enough to ruin the overall impression.

Very dark red. Persistent cream coloured head. Chocolate/cola dusty aroma. Burned sugar, perhaps. Quite sweet and rich in chocolate and burned character. Creamy vanilla palate. A bit too sweet, syrup like almost. Will probably develop in the cellar even if it is pasteurised. Nice as a desert after dinner I would guess.

Lots of oatiness in the nose meld well with hints of dark chocolate, charred toffee and smoked peat. The body is heavy, creamy and real enjoyable. Sweet chocolate, vanilla and roasted malts balance each other, making this quite drinkable. No sign of the 10% ABV, which is kind of scary.

Reddish brown appearance, rich fruity port aroma. Sweet fruity, creamy flavor, strong port comparisons without the showing the alcohol. Smooth and creamy. Sweet finish.
