Cask-conditioned at the Wellington, Birmingham 12/08/08. Golden coloured with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and crystallised oranges. Sweetish malt flavour with a touch of butterscotch and a short bitter finish. Ok.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Pembury Tavern. Dirty dark blonde colour. Slight hoppy nose with some malt upfront. Bland flavour with an odd alka seltzer note and some slight hops in the finish. Watery and dull.

Cask@The Pembury Tavern, Hackney. Pale, malty and quite dry. I liked the fact it was quite dry, but i didn’t like the fact that there wasn;t much flavour. Some grassy hops in the finish. Grainy mouthfeel.

Cask handpull at Pembury Tavern March BF 07. Gold colour thin white head. Very spritzey in the mouth. Nice grassy hop. Bit of US hop maybe. Nice spritzey hop finish. Refreshing grassy golden bitter.
