Gravity, Masons Arms, Oxford. Brown sugar, nuts and apple aroma. An apple pie a day after baking. Woody caramel flavor, viney, sweet in an appealing, moorish way. Soft and creamy palate. Nice little mild. From the other ratings, it looks like this often travels poorly, but it can be good! (Cask FFTMC: 6/4/5/3/11 Not such good shape this time. Sawdust, butter, unintentional tartness.)

Cask@Criterion, Leicester. Dark reddish beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly sour and bitter and the flavour is watery, spritzy and fruity sour. Overall a nice beer.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Lighter dark brown colour (!) Smooth caramel Mild, fairly thin in body and flavour. Not the brashest or biggest Mild, but soapy and quaffable up to a point.

Cask at London Drinker Festival 2006. Butterscotch. Weird, slightly dusty and and smoke from a smoke machine. Cherry stone/almond character. Odd.
