Murky, dark brown body with quick bubbles. Very oaky watery wood malt flavour with a long sweet fruity aftertaste. Medium body, no carbonation. Very drinkable, a little heavy on the oak though.

(6+) Flavour is similar, fairly oaky wood flavour, mild sweetish malt underneath is overshadowed. Average palate is under carbonated. Interesting but the wood dominates quite heavily, which I am not a fan of. According to the brewer this will be lessened as the casks are used more often.6/3/6/3/13 - 3.1 Wooden cask in the brewery sampling area.
2009-08-14. Clear brown body with a tiny head. Fruity funky aroma, beets/root vegetable like notes. Flavour is fruity, cherry/beets, weird vegetal character. Slight tang and bitterness. Average palate. I think I prefer the wood version. 5/3/4/3/9 - 2.4 Trafalgar brewed keg, on tap at Black Creek
