"He said organic you pervert!" "you deep throated a black isle" dark brown pour with a white head. Roasty, oatmeal, some chocolate and toasted notes. Pretty solid.

Bottle, 8.5%. Vinous aroma, slightly citric. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small creamy light brown head. The flavour is creamy and roasted. Seems to have a little cardboard, perhaps even plastic. Good creamy mouthfeel, nice and smooth. Late alcohol note, mildly warming and burning.

Botle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear reddish brown with a creamy, beige head. Subtle roasted aroma. Medium body, low in carbonation with a soft mouthfeel. Hard roasted malts and vanilla accents. Very smooth finish with the alcohol very well hidden. Nice and pleasant. 241009

Bottle at RBESG 09 Sheffield. Dark brown in colour. But this was sour and infected. We had a number of bottles like this at the tasting.

Bottle, labelled Organic Hibernator Export Oatmeal Stout. Pours an opaque dark brown that appears black with a big foamy light tan head that leaves rings of lacing. Aroma is roasted malt bordering on charred with a sweet chocolatey backbone. Pleasant and quaffable. Has a fairly mild flavor with a predominant coffee bitter roast finish. Highly carbonated and mouthfilling.

Bottle at the RBESG09, Grand tasting, sheffield. Alround rating: Sweet dark malts, tart red wine vinigar, some plums. This is bettered by the fact its infected.

[RBESG, Sheffield]
Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield.
Pours almost black with a small, creamy beige head. Aroma is citric, some chocolate. Very fizzy and thin. Flavour is rather sour and acidic with lots of lemon destroying all. Infected? I think so.
