Pours a clear golden pale blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that laves behind a thin white ring and a film top. Aroma of light bready malt with a touch of citrus, some flowery hops and some honey. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with mostly a light grain malt with a touch of citrus. Finish is smooth, creamy with a semi-sweet fruity malt and citrus aftertaste. JLAudio (282), Crestwood, Illinois, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | May 31, 2007 Pours pretty clear for a wheat, with little head, and little lacing. Aroma is rather odd, not sure what it was exactly. The taste is the same, rather odd. Not a typical thicker wheat style, with banana and fruit scents and tastes....Funky aftertaste. cbkschubert (2004), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 11, 2007 12 oz. bottle from my brother - Pours a hazy golden color with a 3/4 thick white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is light grain and diacetyl. Not your typical Hefe aroma. Flavor is light grain, diacetyl, and light citrus. Slightly bitter palate. Light body. I’ve had better, but worth a try if you can find it. Thanks Bro. Bockyhorsey (2551), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 9, 2005 Grainy aroma and also bitterness stands out. Hazy Yellow body with white fizzy head that was gone fast. At first I thougt maybe the lables at the brewery got mixed up. Flavor was the same as the Frog Light bitter. But as this warmed up had a somewhat lemon flavor ligering on palate. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 17, 2001 Updated: Oct 13, 2003The beer is a “Chill Hazed” light gold or lemon yellow, take your pick, portly white head, creamy in texture and the residual lace a fine covering for the glass. Nose is lemon like, hints of wheat or “bread dough”, once again your choice, quite a pleasant nose with a sweet start, top is fair to middling in feel. Finish is crisply acidic, the hops are mild but flavorful in their spiciness, dry long lasting aftertaste, a great beer for the hot Arizona summers, tap only at this time.
