I tried this beer on May 16, 2008 at "C’est What Restaurant" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark brownish black with a creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, and some sugary chocolate. The mouthfeel is creamy, medium-bodied with low carbonation. The flavour is sweet, nutty, and chocolatey with some licorice hints. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam

Smells of light cherries, some sweet malt. Tastes of artificial sweet cherries, some cocoa, some earthiness. T was hoping for some more intensity from the cherries, but this is nice. Some caramel on the finish. SuzyGreenberg (1368), Seattle, Washington, USA

I was disappointed with the lack of flavour and body. Faint aroma of chocolate. Black with tan head. Flavour was cherry chocolate but not as intense as I was hoping, not very rich and not much body.
