blood red - black pour, creamed coffee, chocolate, nutty flavour. Dry, burnt sugar finish. Black Oak seems to put out some decent brews. This one is acceptable.

Rich amber brownish colour with noticable gingerbread and malt aromas, as well as chocolate too. Light bodied porter but pretty flavourful.

burnt deep dark chesnut with a solid lighter brown head..the aroma is mesmorizing...its insanly intoxicating with hints of vanilla, cookie dough, dr. pepper, gingerbread, cinnamon, fudge brownie mix, and restuarant mints...straight forward flavors though...midly spicey..a tad custardy like chocolate pudding...slightly bitter in the very end...needs more though i think...flavors remain too subtle..though there are spicy complexities if you really concentrate hard enough.

Deep amber in colour. Aroma was spicy, some gingerbread, and chocolate malt. Flavour was malty, some chocolate, slight roast, cinnamon and some coffee. Finishes with a medium bitterness.

Deep brown/ruby colour with a frothy and and rocky but slightly fizzy tan head. Chocolate and cinnamon aroma with hints of coffee. Coffee and roastiness in the flavour, and a quick, light hit of cinnamon followed by a lingering roasted bitter finish. Full and smooth mouthfeel.

Thanks to mr_kimchee for this one. Dark brown, nearly black and looking like a stout, this porter has a strong coffee/chicory profile in the flavor. Very roasty, it's an enjoyable brew on a winter's day.

Deep brown hue with nice reddish highlights. A creamy tan head provides very good lace. The aroma hints of burnt dark malts, milk chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, and earthy yeast esters. The taste is indeed spicy and sweet malt which a solid undertone of fruit, coffee and smoke. The spice lingers on the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is creamy and lush, good body for a porter. A well made holiday porter and very enjoyable. Thanks Jeremy for getting me a bottle from the Toronto gathering. Thanks jercraigs for the initial effort.

Very dark brown with a small, tan head. Aromas of spice and malt. Initial malty bitterness and strong roast/coffee flavour with a hint of cinnamon. Very enjoyable porter gets me in the holiday spirit!
