Mild hops and citrus come out of a very pale beer with a frothy white head that diminishes quickly. Refreshes the mouth nicely and leaves with a bit of a bitter wave. I wouldn't buy it over my everyday Pale Ale (St. Ambroise) but it's fine. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 18, 2004 Clear golden hue with almost no carbonation, but nonetheless a nice thick sticky and foamy white head. Aroma of english hops and bready, grassy malt. It makes up for a decent session beer with a controlled bitter finish, an almost earthy character and a low-to-medium body, but I couldn't help but being annoyed by the too sweet mouth entrance that is like a fruit syrup attack for a second and quickly phase into the drying hops department. Great hoppy nose. Good malt and hop flavours mix with a hop finish. Good. jah noth (1023), Rochester, New York, USA

Decent grassy hop flavor with a nice twinge of sweetness. Medium bodied and quaffable. Thanks to Jeremy for the local trade. pondoshuffles (141), Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario, Canada

Flavour was quite hoppy up front, smooth and slightly sweet. Finishes with a medium dryish bitterness. DukeofYork (44), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Fair amount of carbonation. Floral, citric hop nose. Sweet malt starts it out, then we get a rather sharp piney-citric hop kick that lasts and lasts ... long after all the malt backing has disappeared. A rounded finish, and a hint of smokeyness (?) ... good but really doesn't pair well with food (it tastes sour if you pair it).
