Commercial Description:
This is our flagship beer. Medium body, beautiful golden colour, good mouth feel and a refreshing hop finish. We use six selected malts and five different kinds of premium hops. This recipe is secret, but the Pale Ale is very tasty and hoppy.

Solid easy-drinking ale. Nothing special but nothing to make you avoid it either. Mild hops and citrus come out of a very pale beer with a frothy white head that diminishes quickly. Refreshes the mouth nicely and leaves with a bit of a bitter wave. I wouldn't buy it over my everyday Pale Ale (St. Ambroise) but it's fine.

Clear golden hue with almost no carbonation, but nonetheless a nice thick sticky and foamy white head. Aroma of english hops and bready, grassy malt. It makes up for a decent session beer with a controlled bitter finish, an almost earthy character and a low-to-medium body, but I couldn't help but being annoyed by the too sweet mouth entrance that is like a fruit syrup attack for a second and quickly phase into the drying hops department.

Earthy hops thrive in cookie-breeding malt...Crunchy, sweet citrus fruit sprinkled with bread crusts...With its conventional level of bitterness for the style and a nice malt/hop balance, this becomes a straightforward, unpretentious example of the pale ale...Were it more available in these parts, it would still not overtake McAuslan's as my choice pale...

(Bottle) Pours a thin, white, quick-dissipating head and a deep amber body with sediment and high carbonation. Great hoppy nose. Good malt and hop flavours mix with a hop finish. Good.

A relatively snappy pale. Golden in color with tiny bubbles and a bit of light floaties. Decent grassy hop flavor with a nice twinge of sweetness. Medium bodied and quaffable. Thanks to Jeremy for the local trade.

A nicely hopped pale ale with a good malt background. Grassy and grainy in the nose, with a spicy hit of hops. Satisfying.

Deep gold in colour. Aroma was of grass and hops. Flavour was quite hoppy up front, smooth and slightly sweet. Finishes with a medium dryish bitterness.

Nice flaxen, gold colour, with bright white foamy head. Fair amount of carbonation. Floral, citric hop nose. Sweet malt starts it out, then we get a rather sharp piney-citric hop kick that lasts and lasts ... long after all the malt backing has disappeared. A rounded finish, and a hint of smokeyness (?) ... good but really doesn't pair well with food (it tastes sour if you pair it).
