Commercial Description:
This is our flagship beer. Medium body, beautiful golden colour, good mouth feel and a refreshing hop finish. We use six selected malts and five different kinds of premium hops. This recipe is secret, but the Pale Ale is very tasty and hoppy.

Nice looking ale - rich gold with light carbonation and a small quickly dispersed head. Like their Nut Brown, the aroma was a bit too sweet. Nice, mild hoppiness but the treat is after as a bitter citric bite finishes off this really nice pale ale. You know what? I think I’ll have another.

Light gold color with a tall white head. Clean fruity hop aroma. Starts sweet with some nice dry hops coming right in. Good body, bitter finish. A bit bumpy in the balance, but quite drinkable.

Pale ale night. Dark golden color with a diminished head, that leaves a lid of cream colored bubbles. LIght pine and mild caramel malt aromas. Flavors coincide with the aromas. Mild malt, light pine wood and light citrus. Quite satisfactory, a decent flagship type brew. Thanks jerc.

Clear golden body with a thin white head. Mild aroma and flavor of hops and caramel. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and low carbonation. Unremarkable.

07.10.05 12oz bottle, RBSG. Minimally hazed with lacing white head. Aroma is green tea, wet leaves. Not much hoppy aroma but plenty bitterness. Dry finish. Decent, but plain.

Draught at BarVolo. Pours a sparkling amber with an average size creamy long-lasting white head. Nice carbonation, nice colour. Looks really good. Aroma of hops, malt and fruit. Flavour has lots of malt, too much yeast and not enough hops. Not bad but I prefer it in the bottle.

Draught at Volo. Poured bubbly golden, clear - large, long-lasting white head with very good lacing. Aroma was a bit off to me - sour malt, some dry hops, corn and wet dog yeast. Tasted sour/bitter to me, not enough decent malt to balance - finish was interesting, hops to start, then the tart malt, then grapefruit and mushroom with a final note of musty bitterness. Medium body, sticky mouthfeel, average carbonation.

Very nice appearance, a little bit of head, nice chorus of tiny bubbles rising upwards. Amber, on the orange-yellow side of things. I smell something sweet, but I can’t quite put my finger on what it reminds me of. The sweet fragrance comes out in the taste when swallowing, quite a nice balance between sweet beginning and ever-so-slightly bitter finish (a bit of copper). Hmm. After having some more the copper starts to become more pronounced, the bitter side starts to dominate over the sweet fragrance initially noted. Not too bad. Above average for sure, but not perfected by any means.
