Smells of sugar, stale hops and a bit of malt--nothing too terribly offensive. Medium-bodied; Strong corn flavour --just like muching on a tortilla chip! A bit of metal and sweetness in the taste as well, but not much. Overall, not a great beer and one that shouldn't be sampled if possible to avoid! I was still lucky to sample this! Thanks to Jeremy (jercraigs) for bringing this bottle! jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Still prefer the Black Oak Pale Ale though! :) Radek Kliber (3986), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Very interesting malt accent at the end with soft hop touch. Slightly nutty which is unusual for lagers of such type. Cartoonkhaki (1150), Brantford, Ontario, Canada

Hoppy and largly grassy in flavor almost has a bit of apple to it. I'd much rather have the Nut Brown or the Pale Ale over this. But I still enjoyed it. joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

Mildly hoppy, somewhat grassy nose. Medium bodied w/ a fair bit of carbonation. Fresh & crisp w/ light maltiness & mild bitterness. A good beer for its style. dhurtubise (568), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
