Sep 20, 2003 Light amber in colour with a very thin white head. Smells of sugar, stale hops and a bit of malt--nothing too terribly offensive. Medium-bodied; Strong corn flavour --just like muching on a tortilla chip! A bit of metal and sweetness in the taste as well, but not much. Overall, not a great beer and one that shouldn't be sampled if possible to avoid! I was still lucky to sample this! Thanks to Jeremy (jercraigs) for bringing this bottle!

Jul 10, 2003 Nice head, and appearance. Nicely hopped. I am not a lager fan but this is enjoyable. Still prefer the Black Oak Pale Ale though! :)

Mar 11, 2003 A bit faint aroma, light initially on taste but grows on you while you drinking. Very interesting malt accent at the end with soft hop touch. Slightly nutty which is unusual for lagers of such type.

Feb 11, 2003 Faint grassy aroma. Clean copper colour. Fair had that vanished quick. Hoppy and largly grassy in flavor almost has a bit of apple to it. I'd much rather have the Nut Brown or the Pale Ale over this. But I still enjoyed it.

Feb 11, 2003 Clear orange/copper w/ big fluffy white head. Excellent lacing. Mildly hoppy, somewhat grassy nose. Medium bodied w/ a fair bit of carbonation. Fresh & crisp w/ light maltiness & mild bitterness. A good beer for its style.
