Commercial Description:
Brilliant colour with a lighter body than our ales. It has a clean refreshing flavour. We use three selected malts and two different kinds of premium hops.

This really isn’t made for Black Oak fans I don’t think. Some crispness, and perhaps a little more flavour and body than I originally gave it credit for, but I’m not going to pass up the Nut Brown for this.

Nice body, golden with little head. Fruity malty spicy aroma. Spicy and sweet flavor. Good beer.

Pours a clear fizzy golden with a bland musty old hops aroma. Light, crisp, semi-sweet body. Not as bad as a lot of American standards out there.

Scrawny cereal and limping citrus...Good lace retention over watery, sweet blandness...One for the father-in-law I'm afraid...

Thick white foamy head which is persistant. Golden yellow coulour. Downhill from there, malty aroma with soapiness (and I dont use soap to clean my glass). Tart and lemony taste with barely any malt or hops to help. Average.

A bit faint aroma, light initially on taste but grows on you while you drinking. Very interesting malt accent at the end with soft hop touch. Slightly nutty which is unusual for lagers of such type.

Nice head, and appearance. Nicely hopped. I am not a lager fan but this is enjoyable. Still prefer the Black Oak Pale Ale though! :)

(Bottle) Pours a large, white, quick dissipating head and a highly carbonated, golden body. Looks like ginger ale. Nose of doughy malt and slight hops nose and flavour. Lightly tart and fizzy. Average.
