Caramel and cane sugar breezes over light citrus and resinous bitterness...Near-silent butterscotch notes comply with the almonds and remain subdued...A floury, dryish ending disappoints a bit, in this a very typical, well-made yet unexciting, Ontario brew...Thanks Jercraigs!...

Tried this one on tap at the Winking Judge in Hamilton, ON. The kind of beer to sit by a fireplace and sip. Smells fruity, and has nice caramel flavours. Slightly bitter finish.

Dark amber colour with a frothy off-white head. Fruity, nutty, and toffee aroma. Toffee and earthy hop initial flavours, fruity in the background throughout, and a slight nuttiness in the bitter finish. Medium to full bodied and slightly warming.

Malt, spice and coffee, easy drink. Fruit mid-sip. Brown sugar or is it maple? Darker colour not quite brown. Bit of creamy head in first pour. Dry but not too dry aftertaste. Hat off to Jercraigs for samples.

Deep amber in colour. Aroma was quite hoppy, floral and fresh, slight sweetness. Flavour was very smooth, great balance, woody, lots of hops and caramel sweetness and fruity. Finishes with a wonderful medium bitterness. Very well made.

On tap at the Winking Judge in Hamilton, Ontario. Nice dark amber/red body with medium sized head. Smells vert malty, and sweet. Aroma is inviting indeed. Taste is hops and slight bitterness. A nice ale for sitting by the fireplace, provided you have one. Fireplace that is.

Aroma of caramel, malt, and hops. Poured a very nice clear amber, firm, frothy head. Malty flavor, good dose of hops, some underlying brown sugar. Nice balance. Medium body. Pretty nice. Thanks jercraigs/Oakes.
