Nov 16, 2003 Cask Conditioned at The Swan, Banbury. Golden with thick head. Thick light malt beer, sharp, nosey with a boiled hop overnote, a little cabbagy. Decent balance but not that special.

Jun 15, 2002 Orangey-yellow color, much less head than I would have thought from the commercial description, but I had it from a cask (Bookbinder’s Arms, Jericho, Oxford). Sharp tart/acidic taste, with a surprising sense of the alcohol in the flavor as well. Not bad, but not overwhelming.
