Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Pours copper with a thin tan head. Sells of caramel and earthy. Tastes earthy and basic with some stray malty hints.

bottle - Pours a dark copper color with a large head that quickly fades to thin. English malts and mild hops dominate the aroma. Caramel malts and mild hops hold up the flavor of this ale that starts too watery, but as expected improves as it warms. It’s lightly carbonated and has a dry, moderately bitter finish. Pretty good ale

Bitterish, Darlisk ale-ish - can taste the roast. Bugger all smell, a bit apple-ish. Ok. Nothing outstanding. A drinkning for drink... drink

A lovely malty ale with generous Goldings hop aromas, goes down very smoothly. Had it in bottle, available around Adelaide. Would definately drink again.

Deep red color with nice foamy head. Smell is quite mild, with some smoky and malty notes. Taste is quite sweet but developes to a nice round bitter finish.Overall its nice ale but nothing spectacular.

Bottle. Aroma of toast and fleshy, just turned ripe fruit (maybe some melon, mango, raspberry, very interesting mixture). Flavor goes along and is very juicy, refreshing. I found this to be quite full-bodied, with all that juiciness, for a bitter. Solid stuff.
