Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Bottle. Aroma of toast and fleshy, just turned ripe fruit (maybe some melon, mango, raspberry, very interesting mixture). Flavor goes along and is very juicy, refreshing. I found this to be quite full-bodied, with all that juiciness, for a bitter. Solid stuff.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a thick tan head. Aroma of toast, roasted/burnt malt, light fruits (blackberry, strawberry, apple). Flavor of light fruits, toast, some jam, apple. Very light and easy to drink. Palate was a little weak and watery. Decent, enjoyable, nothing too exciting though.

Had the pint bottle at home. Interesting brew. Copper with a nice head, lacing on the glass. Malty nose with caramel, hops aroma following. Light body. Carbonation tingles on the front of the tongue. Ends very dry with hops bitterness that lingers. Unfortunately, there is a metallic taste that is more apparent the more you drink. Wouldn’t be my first choice for a bitter, but it’s alright.

Deep orange in color with a thick and fluffy white head. The nose had aromas of citrus and soap. In the mouth it was light with some balancing caramel in the mid-palate to add sweetness though overall it was quite dry.

Dark gold kind of colour with slightly off white head. Finish is quite dry and bitter. Average, drinkable though. I’ve drunk a pint of Crystal though, the beer not the champagne.

(England) Pours a nice hazy orange color with a med off white head. Aroma is of spices and citrus with a dry malty taste. The finish is slightly bitter and there is some nice lacing in the glass. Not bad at all, But i was hoping for a bit more here.

Erm well not bad I suppose? You could say it is a gutsy beer. I won’t (unusual) take the piss out of it as it is a pretty reasonable beverage that in my opinion is a one or two bottle drink and not a session beer.
