Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

This beer pours an amber/slight orange with little to no head. The aromas are light citrus and nutmeg. The flavors are bittersweet and mostly dry, but not in a good way. This one was a real letdown. I was hoping for better. Cheers!

Pours a dark, golden amber colour with an off white sizable head that persists. Great lacing. Mostly malty flavour without a lot of hoppiness to balance it out. Some burnt caramel and other spices.

A light amber beer, with a 2 inch head that lasts the whole beer. Excellent, I mean excellent lacing. Aroma is of sweet, malt, sugar, and a hint of hop bitterness, and smells kinda like tobacco leaf. Flavor is malty bland, milky, and only slightly bitter. Finish is heavy. Overall texture is thick and heavy. A little too plain, and runny.

Bottled. Light toffee nose - musky. Typical English characteristics. True to its description.. bittersweet. Light bodied with decent carbonation for the style. Average
