Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Poured red/amber color, tall head and nice malty aroma. Very refreshing light, malty flavor. Good over all ale.

Poured a clear amber color with a thin white head that had no retention. Aroma was a mix of grassy notes and some bitter hops. Hops seemed light in the aroma, but were heavily present in the flavor. Finish was dry.

Pours mildly cloudy orange with a tall white head. Fruity malt nose, with a dry earthy hop finish. Very soft on the palate, crisp in the finish. Hops are dominant, but not overpowering, allowing the malts to bring a bread and fruit character into the hopped finish.

[1056-20080119] 500mL. Wheaty hay aroma has a bit of wet grains and slightly skunky corn. Clear, dark amber brown body with a quick foamy white head. Grainy bitter floral alcohol flavour. Medium body is bitter. Strange bitter bite.

Very enjoyable beer. Nice malty and hoppy taste. Very ’agreeable’, but not boring. Fantastic bitter taste.

Bottle in London. Amber colour with big head. Hoppy. Sweet, taste of marsepin. Dry finish. Very smooth and enjoyable.

Bottle. Beautiful clear, copper in color, with a tall creamy head. The aroma is malt and raw wheat, with a fruit hop note. A bit fizzy in the mouth, with a smooth flavor that’s not too heavy. A really good bitter, for a bottled beer. Seems that bottled bitters never seem to live up to the drought versions

Nice and easy like a plain beer. But not boring - sort of a strong bold bitter beer entrance with a weak beer ending. One expect s bitter and sweet to fight but your just left with a gentle mildly malt flavor in your mouth. Good stuff.
