Commercial Description:
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

This beer is golden/orange with a good head. The aroma has notes of hops and caramel/roasted malt. The flavour is fullbodied with notes of hops, caramel and fruit and a nice bitterness, that grows in the finish. A nice fullbodied ale that also is very refreshing.

Wicked nose of sweet spices, flowers, dried apricots, resin, and wheat; very fruity. Pours a sparkling golden. The slow cascade meanders into a tall fully lasting tight off-white head that is creamy and leaves very good lace. The flavor is malty with light acidity, and a lovely raisinish finish. Superior with great complexity combined with great balance. The perfect body is medium, creamy, super soft, and an astringent feel to the finish. Exceptional! Grossly underrated IMHO.

Fantastic British ale. A balanced beer, pours a dark brown with a nice foamy head with some fine lacing. Aromas of roasting, toffee, and caramel, with fruity hints, and Golding hops coming through. Smooth and long and dry. A firm favourite.

Pours bright amber into an English pint. Fluffy off-white micro head leaves sheet lacing as it slowly recedes. Fruity caramel and malt aromas. Smooth caramel and apricots. A bit watery with a sharp, metallic bitter aftertaste. Metallic flavors are unpleasant at first but subside after a few sips.
