I could understand this after drinking more robust beers, but this was the first tasting of the night. Very weak on just about everything... elav8 (4), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Moderate head, little darker than an average ale. has some tastesof caramel and nuts. good flavor, good beer ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 5, 2006 500 mL bottle from LCBO. App.: pours med. amber with a tight, off white head. Aroma: pleasant sweet maltiness, vinous notes, a slight nuttiness. Palate: med.-light body with fairly aggressive carbonation. Flav.: quite dry, some malt comes through, a bit of tartness and a fairly lengthy, mild-moderate bitter finish. I would have liked a bit more flavour, but not too bad.
