| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2005 Clear amber colour with thick rocky head. Mild carmel malt nose. Dry bitter carmel malt taste. JohnBarleycorn (394), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 2, 2005 The beverage is an eye-pleasing mix of orange and copper. Good head retention. Nose is a little weak and simple, with some sugar and hops, and none of the anticipated fruitiness. Palate is weak and thin, and quite watery. The long, bitter finish ends with traces of pine needles. Disappointingly simple. Brad (364), Berkley, Michigan, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 1, 2005 Transparent orange/amber, frothy off white head, heavy carbonation, large bubbles were also present on the sides of the glass. Aroma was that of hops, malt, metal, and bread. Flavor was very thin with malt into a lasting hop bitterness. No lacing. This beer has nothing original, or anything that even remotely stands out. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 20, 2005 500 ml bottle. I really loved Riggwelter, so I was prepared to enjoy this...ah well. Oily, solid amber body capped by a massive, frothy lasting head with just a touch of color...caramel-sweet nose kissed by cinamon and light dry herbs...bland initial flavor, boiled grain taste...dry bitterness sets in midpalate and keeps going with a terribly strong metallic quality eventually rendering it only marginally drinkable. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 14, 2005 Decent head, but doesn’t last. Tart dried apricots, figs, almond. Mouthfeel is creamy to start, dissipating into sharp spritzy sourness. Not bad, and the orange looks pretty nice. bombshelter (349), Washington, Washington DC, USA
