Jan 26, 2009 Pours a clear medium orange amber witha tall chunky light tan head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is apple peel, citrus hops, kiwi, straw and a bit of caramel. Flavor is buttered sourdough toast, straw, grainy malt, bitter apple peel, bitter orange, and some bitter hops to finish. Palate has a light creamy yet dry quality that makes me feel like drinking a million of these. Really nice beer

Jan 26, 2009 Botella. Clear amber golden colour with a big beige head, nice lacing. Aroma has spices and pleasant bitter hops and some frutiness. The mouthfeel is quite good, buttery. The flavour is bitter sweet with caramel, toasted malt, some spices and mild dark fruits. Butter malty finish.

Jan 23, 2009 Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy copper color with a medium frothy off white head. The aroma is a spicy malt with citrus and dark fruit. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste is a sweet malt and very bitter with a dry finish. A good bitter from Black Sheep.

Jan 21, 2009 Pours a burnt orange with a small white head. Aroma has citrus, dandelion, some honey, brown sugar, and spice. Flavor has a nice sweet beginning and then a gently bitterness takes over in the finish. Notes of citrus, honey, hint of apple, and a light bitter dandelion finish. Decent carbonation, nice beer.

Jan 20, 2009 The initial aroma I got from the glass was honeyish. The aftertaste is very dry and hits the back of the palate. The beer pours to a creamy white head which it holds down the glass.

Jan 18, 2009 This started out with a musky aroma which thankfully switched to a roasted malt & dark chocolate aroma as it warms in the glass. Cloudy brown in color almost like a cider with a flat head and low carbonation. Flavor is quite similar to the aroma, roasted malt with slight hoppy bitter aftertaste. Overall, a worthy effort.
