Cask conditioned - handpump - Fellows, Morton & Clayton - Nottingham. A light amber coloured beer with a whitish thick head and lacing. The aroma is lightly hoppy whereas the taste is clean and balanced and typically Yorkshire in style. I can see the appeal of this sessionable beer which I haven’t done in the past.

Pours amber with creamy head. Not much in the aroma. The flavor has some reasonable bitterness.

[689-20070925] Cask @ Royal Oak (Oxford, OX). Sweet and hoppy aroma. Slightly hazy, orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Sweet grainy malt flavour has a bitter finish. Medium body has good balance of bitter and sweet. Quite nice, repeatable.

Clearish golden ale covered by a lasting white cover. Sandy, floral and quite bitter beer with a rather generic maltiness. No real toastiness shows hop, it hesitates on a strawy character that lacks confidence. Nevertheless, it packs a fair bitterness and finishes with punch and length.

Cask-conditioned at the Plume of Feathers, Bristol. Amber coloured with a minimal head. Aroma had some fruitiness and floral hops. Flavour had some biscuity malt and a dry slightly hoppy finish. Ok.

1/2 pint at The Wharf in Aalborg, Denmark. Amber color, off-white head. Floral and some bitterness - but much too thin for my taste.

Cask at Charlie´s Bar in Copenhagen. Pale brown/amber color with a small head. Light aroma of fruit, yeast and floral hops. Tastes of citrus, banana, some bread, yeast and light hop bitterness. Flat carbonation. Nice, goes down very easy. 080225. Cask at Mathers, Edinburgh. Overall: 3.3

Cask at The Crown, Charlton-On-Otmoor 28-09-07 Poured amber in colour with small white head. A nice fruit beer, sweeter than I recall but with a nice hoppy flourish and dryness at the end, a tasty session beer, and another beer that I can’t believe that I’ve not rated before.
