Drank on 04-25-07 at The Harp, London in a nonick pint. Nice amber color with a one finger off white head that left nice lacing. Malt and floral hops to the nose. Floral and pine hops along with a heavy dose of malt to the taste. Aftertaste of malt, grass, and some floral bitterness. Nice handdrawn palate with a little carbonation. A nice solid bitter.

Hastily necked draught half at the ’most haunted’ pub in York. Bright amber pour with a collar of white suds. Hugely drinkable sessions with an excellent caramel malt- crisply leafy hop balance.

1/2 pint cask, Thompsons, Edinburgh. Medium-sized white creamy head. Marzipan-like sweet nutty aroma with a crisp background, smooth bitterness and a very soft texture. Really nice as it is both stimulating and refreshing while not being offending in any way at all. Very well-made. Gentle maltiness, which only shows through towards the finish. A very nice bitter.
