Commercial Description:
Available filtered and pasteurised in 500ml bottles.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Distinctive balance between the flavours of fruity Golding variety hops, Maris Otter malted barley and demerara sugar. Strong and refreshingly long, dry and bitter finish."

Hoppy and bitter with a nice malty fullness. Very foamy. Some yeast in aroma. I hadn’t really had british bitters for a long time before this, so it tasted good!

500 ml bottle. Golden, clear body with a white head. Discreet hoppy aroma. Flavor is malty, a little bitter and a little hint of floral hops. OK but nothing else.

Bottle, dark toffee colour, not much head. I read the reviews here before trying and the first sip tasted alraight (right out of the sauna). On closer inspection however, the beer smelled and tasted almost nothing but metal. You know, old rusty keys + wet hands = this beer. Watery and thin, with a dirty bitter finish. A bit lagery as well. It sound pretty horrible based on my description, but it’s all right as you can see from the points I gave.

A mid copper brown coloured beer with a thick and frothy, white head. A light aroma, slightly hoppy, then some malty sweetness. The taste is dry, hoppy to start with, then a smooth, slightly sweet malt flavour gives the beer a somewhat bland finish. (Bottle - Present from Mum and Dad after a visit to North Yorkshire).

Bought as a joke once for my mother who is an avid Emmerdale fan. She was kind enough to let me have a taste, and to my suprise, it wasnt all that bad. A very flat, copper-like taste; reminding me of John Smiths.

5o cl bottle. Fairly light. Rather watery, but with a fine hoppy finish. Not their best beer.
