Commercial Description:
Available filtered and pasteurised in 500ml bottles.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Distinctive balance between the flavours of fruity Golding variety hops, Maris Otter malted barley and demerara sugar. Strong and refreshingly long, dry and bitter finish."

Huge coarse white head collapses quickly into dark bronze body. Sweet harmonic malty pine needle aroma with roasty metal notes. Taste is sweetish pine needles and resin with dark malty notes, and some metal. Aftertaste is dry resin. Quite good, but nothing spectacular. (0.5l bottle.)

Bottle. Amber colour with a medium creamy mostly lasting head. Aroma and taste of hops with fruity notes. Good beer.

Poured from the bottle, a clear amber, a little carbonation and a large bubbly white head. At first the aroma is malty, but then this gives way to a pleasant sweet berry fruitiness. Smooth and light on the palate at first, with malty flavours. This gives way to a long bitter finish with hoppy fruit flavours. Only downside would be the carbonation, which just takes a little away from it overall.

Bottled. Weak, lightly malty aroma, with some hops and a little metallic note. Almost copper-colored with a nice off-white head. Clear. Malty and bready up front, with hops and some caramel coming shortly after. Nice body and a finish with bitterness and a touch of sweetness. Pleasant, but a little too anonymous. (060525)

Bottle, 500ml. A dark amber-coloured pour with a small head. A hoppy aroma with citrus and some sweetness. Taste of hops with citrus and hints of caramel. A somewhat watery, hoppy, fruity finish. Average carbonation. Not the best Black Sheep ale.

From bottle. I love the smell of the beer, sweet and fruity aroma with a hint of malt. Great appearance, a clear orange glow with a thin head. A well balanced ale, sweet with a bitter finish. Overall a good bitter, nothing bad to say about this ale. A lot better than the TV Show! Re- rated, I still think this is a great enjoyable beer
