Commercial Description:
Available filtered and pasteurised in 500ml bottles.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Distinctive balance between the flavours of fruity Golding variety hops, Maris Otter malted barley and demerara sugar. Strong and refreshingly long, dry and bitter finish."

I got a curious pineapple aroma. A good, solid head and lacing. First taste was favourable, but a fizzy metallic tang set in and the bitterness at the finish was thin and disappointing.

White head on top of an orange body. Reasonably hoppy and very easily drinkable, very thrist-quenching and not too strong. There is fruit there, although I can’t says which, and sweet malt. Nice summer ale.

Tasted from the bottle around ’Use by" and poured into a pint glass. A decent head of white foam formed atop a bright orange-gold body. The head lasted and produced excellent lacing. Sweet malt aroma, with tangy citric hop notes and a herbal spice. In the mouth an unusual wash of oranges crossed the palate, with peppery spices, husky grain feels and a bitter grassy swallow. Medium carbonation and a medium light palate. Good blend of Goldings hops to balance the sweetness. Very clean and overall refreshingly crisp summer style Ale. Lovely!!!

Bottled.Bright gold, with a firm white, long lasting head, impressed with the appearance. Rather lacking in aroma, very slight hint of hops. Lack of aroma is made up for on the palate /flavour which explodes with well balanced malt & hops, finish lasts...long lingering citrus hops.Dry and clean, seems to be typical of Black Sheep...well made bitter.

Bottle Berry and herbal nose. Red amber, low creamy head. Herbal english hops, a bit toffee. Somewhat fizzy, carbonation needs to be beat out. A bit watery, low-level aftertaste.

Light brown tending to caramel in the glass. Good nose; expressive fruity hops with a herbal tinge. Quite tight in the mouth with hops driving the taste, not malt. Finishes quite broad and just a touch metallic. Not as generous in flavour as some of its peers.

Clear amber colour with a decent sized (1 cm) off white head. Slightly malty and fruity aroma. Malty and fruity taste. Hoppy and slightly stale/metallic aftertaste. Pretty good for pastuerised.
