Aug 9, 2006 Cask at GBBF 2006. Handpull. Copper colour with thin off white head. Odd citrus aroma. Odd lemon, but more lime in the citrus mix. Some yeast. Some hopo on end. A little bizarre and not what I was expecting

Dec 4, 2007 Cask conditioned at The Easington, Banbury. Amber with white head. Malty, soft beer with a light biscuit flavour, some carmel, toffee but little else. Sweetish finish, nothing exciting.

Nov 1, 2007 Cask (handpump) at GBBF, August 2006. Dark amber colour. A soft, sweetish best bitter. The emphasis is on sweet, fruity malt and hop character is in pretty short supply - no more than a hint of earthy Goldings. Consequently lacks impact. Couldn’t really call this faulty (so I’ve erred on the side of generous in the scoring) but its not my preferred style of bitter at all.

Aug 9, 2006 Cask @ the Harp, Covent Garden, London. Amber colour with a fruity aroma, with some hints of honey. Malty and fruity flavor with slight hints of bitterness. Long fruity aftertaste.

Aug 9, 2006 Cask conditioned – handpump – GBBF. A copper to brown coloured beer with a sweet malty but slightly soapy aroma. The taste has some malty character but is dull and just uninteresting. I am afraid this is a typical Black Sheep safe bitter.

Sep 9, 2006 Cask, GBBF 06. Amber with a small off-white head. Aromas are spicy, earthy hops with yeast lemon and hints of banana. Flavours are caramel malts with butter and zesty lemon. Pretty decent.
