Commercial Description:
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

This beer has a fun lable, but falls short of excellence in english ales. Smelled old. Perhaps it really WAS old. Poured watery, had a fair malty start, but an unusual, dry / old finish. Fun Bottle - Bad Beer.

Run away! Run away! Seriously. Tastes how spray paint smells. Nice amber color but that’s about it.

A clear amber colored beer, with a great thick foamy head. The aroma of hops, with fruits. There are notes of grass. The taste is bitter, with a little dry. It’s fruity and there are touches of nutes. The aftertaste is dry bitter.

Not at all impressed. Hate to give such a low rating but really, this one is not good. Watery and even a little skunky. Not sure why they would put this one out there. 8/08

Aroma of malts and hops and some skunkiness. Malty flavor with small hint of citrus fruits. Disappointing.

Amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is of citrus, nuts and toast. Taste is slightly malty with some raisin and citrus.
