Commercial Description:
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

500ml bottle from some watery tart Was probably brought here by a swallow not sure if it was African or European Smells of elderberries and a touch of shrubbery and slight herring aftertaste It looks like it could cut down the tallest tree in the forest Overall pretty damn good of course i really wanted to give it a 5

Bottle. Amber beverage. Aromas of wet cardboard, wet gravel, oregano. Fruit flavour is cut with fresh-cut wood, white pepper, orange zest and malt. Hot, peppery finish with some bitterness. A weird mix of things going on.

500 ml bottle. Amber color, off-white head. Malty aroma. Slightly metallic, bitter flavor, malty finish. Light body, sharp mouthfeel. Can’t really dig this beer no matter how great Monty Python is.

I was really disappointed in this one. I saw this bottle at the store and knew I had to get it. It had a beautiful goden brown color....but a very weak smell and a very weak flavor....felt like I was drinking Coors Light instead.

Though they were jut making this to make it... but it’s really got a good smooth finish with golden taste.

This is an ESB? Could’ve fooled me. Way to sweet. Weak body too. One and done. Gross.
