| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Bottle. Gold, foamy white head. Fruit and citrus nose. Possibly some elderberries. Sweet malts with light balancing bitterness and a touch of sourness. Middle-of-the-road bottled bitter. (Oops, spoke too soon): by the end of the pint it seemed oversweet and rather less pleasant - reducing from 3.3 to 2.8. islay (476), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Small pour from 12 oz. bottle. Tangy aroma features melon, dust, and lemon scents. Pours a light brass with very little, non-white head. Standard English bitter taste: Fruity with a tangy, lemon zest finish. Light body. Crisp in the palate. Boring and forgettable but not objectionable and in fact sessionable. ttutony (36), Texas, USA

Light clear copper with nice initial head, but quickly subsided to a very thin layer.
Aroma of bready malts and strong fruitiness.
Bready malts, some tea-like character and very light bitterness.
Despite the flat look, it seems overly fizzy. Also, a little thin.
Easy to drink EPA, but nothing out of the ordinary. Would love to have this at a pub in England, instead of bottled at home.
