Commercial Description:
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

nasty dirty water flavor that has some decent malt hidden somewhere in the back. The aroma is weak and the palate is thick only in that malt liquor sort of way. Stale bread smell plus cottonmouth does not a good time make. Bottle from Sunset Corners, Miami.

Bottle. From Pete for Christmas. Pours a deep orange with slightly orange very dense head. Leaves some lacing. Aromas of biscuity malt and some hops aromas. Nothing really dominates though. You can really taste the malt with some caramel and some hops on the finish. Not bad

Lighter than I expected. Golden color with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and bitter but very light. Flavor is sweet, fruity with an odd earthy flavor and bitterness. Light and not that great flavor. Lingering off flavor for me.

500ml bottle. Not the best beer I’ve ever had, although far from the worst. It lacks much bitterness or carbonation, in the way of most English beers, and is overall somewhat flavourless. It is, at least, inoffensive. The name and label are the main reasons to try this beer.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours a medium amber with not much head that disappears quickly and almost no lacing. Taste is malty with some honey and a hint of apple. Taste is light, but very good.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. The pour on this beer very unique pours like a amber cola with a fast rising head that is fizzy and vanishes quickly.Bubbles rise from the bottom making this clear amber beer like an age worthy champagne in appearanceTthink of a ESB that has carbonation.Flavors of hops, malts and caramel.

Bottled 50cl. Awful aroma of boiled vegetables, malt, compost, caramel, butter, apple and boiled milk. A lot of diacetyl showing up in the taste. Very low bitterness. Sweet and slightly sour with apple appearing. Unpleasant finish. Very dissapointing.
