Pale beginning goes into metalli coating and too-sweet-porterish finish. johninmelb (695), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

The toasty malt brings flavours of thick chocolates, licorice and coffee. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. The flavour lingers deeply on the back of the tongue. A good un. Smells roasted with nutty notes and a hint of fruitiness. Flavor is nice with the roasted malt & nut flavor finishing off with hop bitterness. Verrry nice for a bottled beer. Feels like the alcohol content is higher than stated...YESS Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
