0,5 l bottle, bought at Bierei, Vienna. Nice appearance with a dark amber-brown-reddish color, medium foamy beige head. Nice roasted malt andcoffee in the aroma, fine espresso coffee and roasted grains in the flavor with some sourish top-yeast. Long roasted aftertaste.

Tasted at Gallows Bird RALE 05. Dark reddish brown colour. Coffee in the taste. Average hoppiness. Like a "coffee break".

Cask (Peterborough BF 2007) Very dark ruby brown. Coffee and maly aroma. Strong sweet malty taste. A very rich roast. The guys at the Black Sheep stand had intended to serve this with a sparkler - shocking!

Cask@GBBF2007. Rubyish amber colour, big beige head. Aroma is caramel, wood, some hints of vanilla and a bit coffee. Flavour is really oaky, and wooden with some bittery and slightly roasted notes.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at GBBF. Dark amber with a thick bubbly off white head. Lovely coffee malt nose. Flavour is similar but not quite so pleasing. Bitterish finish. Slightly watery mouth feel but still ok. Much better than the bottled version.

Cask at the Wharf, Aalborg. Amber colour with a small fully diminishing off-white head. Mild roasty maltiness and caramel in the aroma. Hoppy, fruity and malty flavour. Moderate bitterness in the finish.
