"A deep chestnut brown beer with a rich near-white head and the aroma of fresh roasted coffee. A wonderfully complex palate with hints of coffee, bananas and liquorice leading to a classic Golding hop finish."

Cask, Beverley Inn, Doncaster. Clear very dark caramel colour, ruby hints and a thin tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, slightly sweet chocolate. Taste is slightly bitter but bags of malt and dark fruits come through towards the end. Finishes bitter and lasts well, easy to drink, very enjoyable.

Cask at the Wharf, Aalborg, DK. Chestnut colored, with almost no head, just some off-white bubbles. The aroma is lightly roasted and has caramel too. Malty-sweet and bitter flavor, with the bitterness escalating towards the finish. Some roastiness also comes through at the end. Medium body. (060506)

Dover Beer Fest. Dark, tingly premium bitter/strong ale. A rolling hop and malt experience which delights and intrigues in a deep and delicious manner. A very yummy beer.
