Bottle. Orange with a fluffy white head. Marmalade aroma. Flavour is sweet and juicy with a hint of almond. Bitter finish leading to a slightly sour aftertaste. Slightly metallic.

Oct 24, 2009 Slightly hazy orange colour. Flavour is quite bitter with some subtle fruity flavours akin to fruit cake coming through at the end.

Jul 30, 2009 Bottled@ChrisO. Golden colour, mediumsized fluffy beige head. Aroma is fruits, some cardboard, yeast and mild notes of red berries. Flavour is quite much the same along with grass and some toffeeish notes.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, cabbage water and paper notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20090123]

Dec 8, 2008 Fluffy off white head with a golden brown body. Nose hints of sweet biscuits. Flavour is honey cereal with a full bitter finish. Lovely.

Nov 29, 2008 Bottled version, light amber coloured beer with some light carbonation and a short white head. Sweet malty and herby aroma with some (ripe) fruity touches. Full palate. Finish is full bitter malty with a longer dry ending. Not bad.

Sep 18, 2008 Bottled from morrisons. Aroma is minimal, balanced but just like a typically pasturised british bitter. Taste is similar, caramel maltsish flavours herbal grassy hop, quite earthy.

It’s 9:09 am and I’m downing this in an attempt to calm my neves before I get on the plane to Barcelona. It has to be said this is a good looking beer. It’s an awesome orange amber colour with a very stable medium sized white head. Aroma is burnt caramel malt with some earth and sugar. Decent start actually and better than I was expecting. The flavour is more of the same and again pretty decent but where the hell are the hops? Ok they are just about there in the finish providing a little bite and a faint bitterness. Palate is overly stinging and does not help me do what I want to right now which is to down it. Actually it’s not bad you know. Well it’s better than I expected. Rich malty notes give some decent bread and cake flavours. Overall a decent drop just too gassy.
