Apr 9, 2007 12 oz. bottle via trade with IrishBoy - Pours a clear brown color with a two finger thick light tan head. Light lacing. Aroma is roasted malt. Flavor is toasted and caramel malt. Light to medium body. Thin palate. A nice, easy drinking Brown. Thanks Richard.

Apr 8, 2007 black but not opaque with ruby highlights. no head. roasted barley and caramel aroma. flavor is very roasty. thin and watery palate. very nice except for the palate.

Apr 7, 2007 Great beer for the price. Got it at Trader Joe’s for 4.99 a six pack. Very dark in color with thin head. Rich and distinctive taste.

Mar 24, 2007 Very dark brown. Thin head. Aroma is of an oatmeal stout, and flavor is lightly roasted grain. Not too bad, and it was only one dollar. A good brown ale.

Mar 21, 2007 12 oz bottle at trader joes for one dollar, poured into glass. A very nice beer that really isnt anything more than a porter. But if your into porters, this is a nice, flavorful beer.

Mar 15, 2007 Smells like toad. Well, toad with a good malt going. Ever-so-slightly cloudy golden brown body, off white head. Full flavour, light but rich mouthfeel. I’m loving the malt here. Much better than the name.
