Commercial Description:
A fine American light ale. This is our lightest beer in terms of color and flavor.

Appearance: Faintly hazy, pale straw-colored body with a small, fizzy, white head. Smell: Nose of light pale malts riddled with buttery diacetyl and maybe a few hints of floral hops. There’s really not much beyond the butter though. Taste: Very mild, lightly sweet malt character that, when teamed up with buttery diacetyl, gives the impression of honey butter. Which is fine for a piece of toast, but becomes hard to bare by the end of the glass. Almost no hop presence and certainly no bitterness to cut through the butteriness, letting the taste ride out from start to finish. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-low carbonation. Drinkability: Butter up! I’ll be spending a few days in Clarksville, TN visiting my dear friend Fifi and the brewpub that time (or at least the online beer community) forgot. And with this inauspicious, butter-soaked start, it’s not hard to imagine why.

Light whitish yellow with a lasting white foam. Aroma is lightly sweet malt, a vanilla sweetness. Taste is sweet malt, watery, metallic. Light sour note in the finish.

allways a poured draft, this was the good stuff at the frewsburg hotel when i was eighteen. it was a very yeasty ale with plenty of hops. then like all good things it went to hell. i heard that the brewing rights were split between two brewers or some such nonsense. i would like to tip a few more of these someday. after readind the brewers page i find that this isn’t the same ale god i’m sorry

Draft at Pub: Hazy yellow color with an average white head that full diminished. Citrus smells at the nose and a little yeasty. The flavor was light with notes of lemon, earthy, and hay. Light, dry body.
