Draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep brown with quickly dissipating head. Faint aroma of roasted malt and nut shells. Initial flavor is full of medium/dark german malts. However the finish is biting spicy hoppiness, along with some roast, ash, and nuts. The finish was something that I personally did not care for. This is probably the first Blackstone beer that I would not bother to drink again.
