Hopped up aroma of lemons, lime, and grapefruit with some toffee. Flavor is more of the above mentioned with sweet carame4l and still more hop presence. A nice pale ale

Fruity hop aroma with a backdrop of caramel malt. Like the Maris Otter, this has an earthiness to the malt profile, but the citrusy hop flavors give this one the pronounced american pale flavor. Finish is crisp, bitter, with some faint dryness. Very solid and clean. Another good one from Blackstone. The cask version has a nice creamy head that laces nicely, and the cellar temp brings out more of the earthy and british characteristics trafford (171), Germantown, Tennessee, USA

Was nice pale ale but not up to the Sweetwater or SN that you can get in Nashville. I was a little light on the hops, but still a good beer to kick back and enjoy some country pickin. Zesty, citrusy hop flavor, with elements of lemon, smoke and pine resin. clean and earthy finish (if thiat isn’t too contradictory). Fairly sticky aftertaste. Tasted at the Brewpub. groovinhigh (170), Asheville, North Carolina, USA

Blackstone is a Brew Pub in Nashville, TN which I eat at regularly. This was the first time I had seen their American pale.... my wife, after her first sip, said, 'this is better than Sierra Pale'!! Which is her favorite beer. I must agree!!
