12oz bottle acquired in trade with SpringsLicker (thanks!). Poured a lighter golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of lemons, grains, lightly grassy and I’m picking up a light spiciness. Tastes of lemons, lightly fruity, grain and citrus. Thin body.

on tap-pours a thin white head and gold color. Aroma is grain, slight herbal. Taste is light malt/grain, secondary herbal/spice hops. OK, after drinking I read the description. Good Kolsch, thats a bit more malty than standard.

Thanks to beer_hawk for this bottle. Pours gold with a thin prevelant white head. Smells of oranges, sugar, straw, some lemons. Taste is slightly citrussy with lemons and oranges being the prevailing characteristics. Finishes tangy and a bit soapy. Very good for the style.

Draft at the brewery, August 2006. Has a light chill-haze but is otherwise clear in appearance, with a yellow color. Nose has some light biscuit malt notes, with some vegetables (corn), hay, and sugar notes as well. Lightly crisp, which is usually not found in US-made kolsch, but still has a more common syrupy textures... overall it’s just not a good beer, kolsch or otherwise, even has some malt liquor qualities. Not good.

Draft sample at SBGF07. Poured an pale color with a moderate fizzy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Light sweet hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable brew.

Medium yellow hue. Small rocky diminishing head. Good lacing. Light-bodied and lively carbonation. Very faint aroma but could detect a floral, grapefruit, vanilla, strawberry, and grain hints. The flavor is lightly sweet and moderately acidic, citrusy with a mild bite. The twang stays into the dry finish. A refreshing summer session beer with okay balance.
