May 19, 2005 On tap into 10 oz. glass. Orange amber in the glass with a gray-tan head of medium size, fizzy and frothy, leaving a sticky but uneven lace. Smells of oranges; I couldn’t smell any malt character. At first sip, the beer kind of crawls on your tounge with lively carbonation over medium-full body; more gravity than I found enjoyable at first. Hoppy acidity like oranges, softly bitter and spicy in the finish. Does some things right, but definitely room for improvement.
