Commercial Description:
This Extra Special Bitter was inspired by the namesake natural area in Monteagle, TN, with its sweeping vistas and waterfalls. (Spring will do that to you!) Fiery Gizzard was brewed with the finest English Maris Otter malt, American two-row malt and East Kent and Syrian Goldings hops. (o.g.-1.059 IBUs-32)

On tap into 10 oz. glass. Orange amber in the glass with a gray-tan head of medium size, fizzy and frothy, leaving a sticky but uneven lace. Smells of oranges; I couldn’t smell any malt character. At first sip, the beer kind of crawls on your tounge with lively carbonation over medium-full body; more gravity than I found enjoyable at first. Hoppy acidity like oranges, softly bitter and spicy in the finish. Does some things right, but definitely room for improvement.
