Nice example of an American IPA showcasing Cascade hops and their accompanying aromas.

Pours an orange-amber body and an off-white head with legs. Smells of citrus and spice hops. Flavor is pineapple, dark honey, and some spiciness from the hops. Finish is floral and not very bitter.

Orange creamy pour with off white head and lace. Apple like aroma with tones of citrus hops. Full malt, nice citrus/evergreen bitter. Full/medium bodied beer with just a tad aggressive carbonation. Very solid best beer I’ve ever had from here.

Pours clear amber with a creamy white head that laces well. Floral hop aroma with some grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit nothing too overpowering. Bitter finish is clean and crisp.

On tap at the brewpub. Solid clear amber orange with a light white head. Aroma of caramel, floral, pine hops. Taste is solid IPA, caramel base, lightly toasty, then lingering bitter floral and citrus hops.

2009 Tap. Probably my least favorite IPA. Strong hops scent, but the flavor is punishing in its relentless, biting floral features. Tastes almost like a conifer tree. Overall a trying experience that I would not want to go through again.

Growler shared by NachlamSie. Pours copper with small off white head. The aroma is fresh grapefruit, light caramel, tangerine, and lemon. The flavor is clean, crisp grapefruity hops with a little bit of minty character. Some light toast and mild caramel lie beneath the hops. Very fresh tasting all around. Quite good, I thought.

One day old growler. Pours copper with a white head. Wow, excellent PNW hops going on in the aroma. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but this hits the spot. It’s sharp, piney, and grapefruity. The flavor is very clean with just the right amount of sweetness. Pine and clean citrus are in the flavor. . the hops seem green with a pronounced herbal sharpness. I was very pleasantly surprised with this adept, hoppy, and rich IPA from a TN brewer.
