On tap, Nashville Blackstone Restaurant. Coppery pour, off-white head. Nose is citrusy, flavor is citrus and malt. Finish is nicely hoppy. Balanced, but not spectacular.

Draught at the brewery, August 2006. Clear copper and amber colored body. Gum and sugar in the nose, very sweet smelling, with some artificial candy pineapple and mandarin orange notes. Crisp and syrupy all around, which is really nice. Drying into the finish. Flavors are not smack-you-in-the-face, but overall this IPA is still very tasty - good fruity notes with some cedar wood as well. Some weedy pecan and nutty cherry notes as the drink goes on. Good stuff.

Draft at Brewpub. Clear amber color in the glass with an average white head that mostly diminished and left lacing. Light smell but definatly that IPA aroma. Hoppy flavor with orange standing out and a hint of malt. Light body and a touch watery. Lighter bitterness when think of an IPA.

Hoppy and delicious. They gave it a 50 on the IBU scale. It was definitely and IPA, but not too bitter or dry in the finish which appealed to me.

Pours amber with a white head. Huge fragrant floral hop aroma. Flavor is extremely hoppy. Medium-bodied and quite dry palate.

Cask conditioned - Dark amber color. Large rocky off-white head. Mostly lasting and producing good lacing. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Heavy hop aroma of pine and grapefruit. Hints of light grain, pear, spice, and floral qualities. The heavy hop bitterness continues on towards the tastebuds. Little sweetness. Dry, moderate astringent, bitter finish. I've had hopper IPA's, but this one is weak either.
