Poured a clear dark amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. Flavorful pale ale. BBB63 (4267), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2008 Cask handpull at brewpub: Clean golden hue with a small frothy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of grassy noble hops, some apple and mango esters, biscuity malt, hint of caramel, and some pepper vapours. The taste is a balanced mild bitterness, fruity and dry grainy background. A touch medicinal but not too bad. The mouth feel is soft and chalky, thin and refreshing enough. A very quaffable session beer, I liked it. The should be listed as an ESB methinks. Braudog (3774), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Crisp tartness in the bitterness. Nice exceptionally clean beer with no huskiness to a great malt basis. Very pleasant hoppy beer. ratman197 (3254), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 21, 2006 Tawny, thin lacing, clear despite not being filtered. Sweeetish, yeasty, slightly uric aroma. Sweet at first, then it dries out and becomes biscuity. Finishes a bit salty. An interesting brew. Claims 32 IBU, but it’s smooth and not bitter. Quite good.
