(12oz bottle, thanks SpringsLicker) Small beige head atop a clear chestnut body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some chocolate, roast. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, chocolate, light nut. Minimal bitterness. Light-medium body, slightly sticky.

Bottle acquired in trade with SpringsLicker (thanks!). Poured a deep and slightly cloudy brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, nuts, chocolate, and toasted malts. Tastes of chocolate, nuts, and caramel. Has a sweetness to it.

(Bottle, courtesy of Sledge Jr) Pours a dark mahogany body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of toasted malt, raisin, and grass. Flavor of malt, cocoa, caramel, and a bit of fruit with a dry finish.

Thanks to beer_hawk for this one. Pours brown with a tan head. Smells of nuts, some coffee and mellowing chocolate. Taste is roasty and sweet with some chocolate and a bit of a peppery bite. Finishes slightly bitter. Another good one from these guys.

Draught at the brewery, August 2006. Dark brown color, with some chill-haze present. Typical appearance for a brown ale. Sweet up front, turning immediately bitter from a burnt wood and burnt nut flavor... which is actually really nice. Strong roasted honey noticed, with some very light nut notes, with light char and toasted bread. Good stuff overall, strong and lively on the tongue.
