| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2006 Draught at the brewery, August 2006. Dark brown color, with some chill-haze present. Typical appearance for a brown ale. Sweet up front, turning immediately bitter from a burnt wood and burnt nut flavor... which is actually really nice. Strong roasted honey noticed, with some very light nut notes, with light char and toasted bread. Good stuff overall, strong and lively on the tongue.
